Styles House is a Federation cottage which has been recently renovated to offer comfortable and stylish accommodation within the friendly established community of Leichhardt, Sydney. Built over 100 years ago in a pre-dominately working class area, Styles House manages to retain its original Federation style character of that bygone era, with it's high ceilings and original polished floors, as well as reinstated features, combined with all of the modern fixtures of today. Styles House is smoke free environment and pets are allowed.
Leichhardt has also managed to retain its friendly sense of community, perhaps with the post war migration of the Italians which largely centred within the municipality.
Locality:
Whether you are visiting Sydney for work or leisure, Leichhardt, is known as Sydney's Little Italy, offering cafes, restaurants, cinemas, parks, local walks and bike ways. If you want to combine your leisure and exercise, you may wish to sip your espresso at Cafe Bones while your pooch can enjoy a puppacino.
Norton Street, the centre of the cafe and restaurant district and is a short five minute walk way. You may wish to see some of the latest movies at the cinema, or you may wish to take in the sites of the Italian Forum while enjoying a meal in one of the many fine restaurants in the piazza. After a meal, perhaps you may wish to shop for some of the latest Italian fashions at either Versace or the other stores up on the gallery level.
Styles House is located within close proximity to transport, an easy walk to the local buses or the Lilyfield tram station, both of which offer quick transport to the Sydney CBD, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour, Entertainment Centre, Star City Casino and the Haymarket. It is 5km (15min) to CBD and 8km (20min) to Sydney Airport.
